[ When the video turns on, Klaus appears, looking dazed with wide, pale eyes and a paler face. It's early, judging by the warm glow of the sun in the window behind him. He's sitting in what appears to be an empty apartment, void of all personal touches, save for the two dogs one might see prancing around in the frame.

He wrings his hands back and forth and sucks in a slow, shaky breath, before he continues. ]

Well.

For those of you who know my esteemed sister, Allison, I regret to inform you that as of this morning the portals have decided to up, up, and away with her. Just like that. Poof. [ He laughs a little, though it's mirthless, and bubbles out around a frown. ]

Maybe we'll get lucky, maybe she'll come back, as this seems to be the Hargreeves curse. God, this place...

[ He looks away from the camera, and if someone looks closely enough, they might see his eyes are a little puffy, red-rimmed. He sniffs once before he looks back at the camera. He can feel the urge to scream, feel the panic climbing up the back of his throat but he swallows around that lump instead and continues. ]

I'll be at the gym tonight at seven. I promised her I'd help with the search parties today anyway and God knows she'll kick my ass into next week if she comes back and the family loser has gone and dropped the ball. I'll be there every evening. We'll get ourselves organized at seven and keep searching until everyone reported missing makes it home safe. [ He has to do it for her. ]

If you have questions, give me a few, won't you? Hugs and kisses, et cetera...

[ He reaches for his cigarettes with trembling hands, pulling one from the practically empty pack and lighting one up before his video switches to a private feed. ] Seven, sharp.

Locked to: Hargreeves family, Prim, Tony Stark, Sirius Black, Lydia Martin, Derek Hale

Could someone watch the dogs? I'm supposed to work for a few hours. Yippee. [ He lets out a breath and scrubs a hand over his face. He looks like he hasn't slept. ]

She said she was going to take today off, so I was going to head up the search to give her a break. I just saw her last night. We walked home together for Christ's sakes. That was literal hours ago. Hours.

[ The frustration shows in the wrinkled brow, the fingers pulling back through his hair, the beginnings of dark circles under his eyes. When he speaks again, his voice wavers. Beside him on the couch sit two little dolls on their sides, hand made and in perfect condition. One Allison bought, one he bought. ]

But she's gone. Really gone. Damn it.

First of all, thanks again to everyone that helped during the last search party.

The list of those missing isn't getting any shorter, though, and I think we need to increase our involvement as much as possible.

[ It’s hard to see so many kids missing. It’s extra hard to see the ages close to her own daughter’s, and imagining her among those children, but it’s what’s driving this even more. She can’t bring her daughter to safety, but maybe she can do so for someone else’s child. ]

If you’re interested, stop by the gym by 7pm tonight, and throughout the week. I plan on going out every evening if needed, so if you’re interested in joining, please do so. The more the merrier.

Hope to see you tonight.

[ Allison has been debating how to make this message. She could have tried the mirrors, but she felt stupid doing that considering she can’t talk and the logistics of responding would be a nightmare. So, this will have to do. If someone wants to fault the Supers for wanting to help, at least they’re trying to do the right thing. ]

The number of people disappearing keeps ticking up, and while the authorities try to figure out what’s causing it, my family and I are building groups to help with the search for those that are missing. For the sake of safety, no one will be going out on their own, so I’m just trying to get an idea of how many others would like to help as well so we can build more groups.

If you don’t want to, I get it. I’ll be the first to say I’m not thrilled with the locals considering the attacks many of us have gone through. But I can see this being turned on the Supers in some way, considering only locals have been reported missing (after Supers have been attacked), so let’s not give them a chance to do that.

[ Not to mention that kids are going missing, too. The little girl that’s missing is only three years older than her own daughter, and she can’t shake away the image from her mind. ]

And, again. If you don’t want to join, that’s completely fine. No one will judge you. But if you do want to help, let me know so we can start figuring out details.

[ When the video feed begins, Allison is walking away from the entrance of the maze, out of breath and her hair out of place. She’s pale, eyes still a little wild but it’s hard to tell right away why. There’s no mob of people around her, or a fight erupting or ending, it’s just her. And, in a lot of ways, that’s what’s wrong with this situation. ]

Has anyone seen Lydia?

[ She looks around at the food booths, as if trying to see if she’s there. There are footsteps behind her, and she whips quickly enough to make her dizzy, but it isn’t her. It’s just a couple of locals, who look at her like she’s crazy before she turns back to the camera. ]

We came to check out the maze, and I can’t find her. Has anyone heard from her?
