Hey, everyone. You are all invited to a Christmas party (or winter celebration, if that’s more your thing) next Saturday, December 19, at 7pm.

The gym will be converted to a winter wonderland for the event so we’ll be closed starting on Friday evening and re-opening on Monday morning.

All Supers are invited. Feel free to dress up, or wear ugly Christmas sweaters, or whatever you want. It’s intended to have a fun night, and kickstart the holiday week on a good note.

[ Peter can’t help but miss home with Christmas well on its way. He and May would go into the city to see the Rockefeller Tree, walk through the little German markets set up, ice skate. Without his parents around, May took up the reins and this time of year he finds he’s missing her and his friends now more than ever. So seeing Allison’s invitation? It helps ease some of that homesickness. ]

I may start closing off sections of the gym that aren’t being used, so maybe we can decide what part we can use on Friday morning?

Yeah, for sure. We'll have to go over the class schedules and see what we need for the morning classes and that'll help narrow it down, I think. I'll be over in about an hour, after this lesson. Sooner, if they don't show; I've already been here a good ten minutes waiting. I might be facing my first no show.

Oh no, they'd love that. I'm fine with that. I'm definitely overdue for a night off, but I promised myself that if I could avoid getting a sitter before the new year, I would. So, as long as it's okay that they come, they'll be there.
