[ It's been a long week between worrying about Richie and Bev, all the bullshit with the networks, and the whole...thing that happened with Sally that they're, he supposes, figuring out. Needless to say, Eddie's kind of looking forward to have a perfectly good excuse to get the Losers together and he's grateful that Stanley suggested it. ]

Hey guys, so...Richie and I are offering to host on Thursday. Who's doing what? I know Stan said he'd handle the bird and I said I'd do the desserts. What else? Also, if nobody minds, I think I'm going to extend an invitation to Sally and her roommates. She hosted us for taco night, after all.

TEXT TO PRIM;

Hey Prim, I just wanted to check...do you have somewhere to go for Thanksgiving? Let me know, if not, okay?

[ If it wasn’t for her friends she’d be completely ignoring the holiday considering it has never meant anything other than conflict in her life (her dad would get drunk, Tom would pick a fight over anything), but it’s different here. She’s actually looking forward to it. ]

And inviting Sally and her roommates sounds good to me.

I have one. If you make that green bean casserole thing, can you not use the canned green beans? Myra started making it with fresh green beans because she heard there was some toxic chemical thing in the preservatives for the canned ones or some such nonsense, but now I'm spoiled on the fresh ones. I'll buy 'em since they're more expensive, but that'd be my only special request.

[ He pauses, looking thoughtful. ]

Actually, on that note, if anyone has any requests for desserts? Otherwise, I'm gonna wing it and you get what you get, mi amigos.

Ah see, good thing I asked. [ She chuckles, shaking her head slightly. ] Don’t worry about it, I got it covered.

[ She shrugs. ] I’ll eat anything, so whatever you get is fine. Just please don’t do anything sugar-free or some shit like that.

Yeah, see, we'd be crashing and burning here without you.

[ He grins. ]

I wouldn't dream of it. I'm not a monster, Beverly.

[ She laughs. ]

Well I’m not sure about that, but I’m glad I’m here.

Good, just wanted to make sure we won’t have healthy desserts on Thanksgiving. If we’re going to do this, let’s do it right.

Now that I've got my invincibility back and I don't have to worry about food allergies? Fuck healthy food. There's a time and a place for that and Thanksgiving is not it.

I think that I'm going to spend it with Five's family and their close friends. Do you have plans?

Okay, good, I'm glad. Yeah, my friends from home and I are having a little get together. I was going to see if you wanted to join us if you didn't already have somewhere to go.

It's nice, though, that you have your friends here to spend that time with.

You're welcome. I'm glad you have somewhere to be, really. You know you're welcome to pop over to our Thanksgiving, too, if you want to double-dip.

Yeah, it is. I'm really lucky. I wish your sister could be here with you. If I could make it happen, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I can handle the stuffing too, actually.

[Stan scratches his slightly stubbled chin as he thinks, trying to decide if there's anything else that he has a request for.]

If nobody else wants to do the stuffing I can handle that too since I'm already doing the bird anyway. We need rolls too - some kind of potato too.

[Stan offers before moving to sit back, a visible list on pen and paper in front of him.]

And I'm fine with you inviting Sally and her roommates.

I can grab rolls while I'm getting desserts. Maybe Richie can be on potato duty?

[ Eddie nods and smiles. ]

I'll bring the booze. And the non-alcoholic drinks, for those of us who don't want to booze it up. Anyone got any special cocktail requests?

Oh, and ask Sally and her roommates what kinda drinks they want.
