I can't see this place as bad, but I sometimes compare it to the Capitol and wonder if I'm turning into one of thoese people because I enjoyed the costume party. And because I don't see this place as bad by comparison.

This isn't home and nobody had to get hurt for that party to happen, Prim. It doesn't change you as a person that you've allowed yourself to enjoy something meant to be fun for everyone, you know. Appreciating that this place is better than a place that would send a bunch of children to fight to the death doesn't make you a bad person.

It's the best home I've ever had, though, and I guess I shouldn't feel guilty, but I'm not used to all of this yet either. It's not a struggle to live like it was at home, at times. I get to live here, at least, even if it's not perfect.

I think that it's kind that so many people thing that I'm good and deserve good things, I don't think there is any perfect place for me to be, though. I just want the chance to become a healer and to live.

Don't let yourself feel guilty for appreciating the frivolities of the new life you've been given. You're not doing anyone any favors by doing that, least of all yourself. You just have to tell yourself that you wouldn't be here for no reason and maybe the reason is so that you get to see what life can really be like if you let yourself enjoy it.

There's no perfect place, period. No perfect place, no perfect time; nothing is perfect. But when good things come your way, don't feel bad indulging them. You deserve that much.

So do those things. Don't let your age or anything that anybody says stop you. Become a healer and live. You're the only thing in your way.

That's very sweet, I'm not sure who you are, Anonymous, but I've only met good people here and I can tell you that I'm sure that I'm grateful to have met you too. I reeally appreciate all of my friends here.
