How did you become so confident?

My mother raised me that way. Being queen bee until a couple of years into high school didn't hurt, either. By the time I got knocked off my pedestal, I stopped really caring what other people thought of me.

If that's, like, a legitimate question, though, the secret is that I love myself. I never talk to myself in a way I wouldn't talk to my best friends.

Wow, first of all, I didn't write that last sentence. And no, I don't actually care what other people think. If I ever do feel unsure of myself, it's not because of what other people think, anyway.
