Intern? It's like this all knowing government doesn't know anything. Intern.

[the image flickers a moment and the image of a bearded man appears. He looks annoyed, but he also looks like he's tinkering on something on a desk before him.]

So, here we are, on a different dimension, in a different time, expected to live our lives like normal. That doesn't sit well with me. Who else isn't exactly thrilled to be here, because I'm lacking in thrill for this place.

First order of business, find a better job. This one is almost insulting. Barely here four days and I've pissed off the other interns. It would be funny if it weren't so sad.

[A spark comes from whatever he's working on. and he hisses, flicking his hand a moment and bringing a finger up to suck on the knuckle. He sighed, and dropped his hand again.]

I'll need parts. Looking for a junk yard near by. I've got some things I need to build to move on up in this Earth Whatever number it is.

[A pause, and he looks at the video, eyeing it, before saying]

If any Avengers are around, speak up. We've got some things to discuss.

[ The video opens on a young woman clearly sitting at a desk. Behind her is a crisply made bed. Her hair is a little disheveled, but that's mostly because she inherited her mother's curls but none of her mother's styling skills.

She looks tired, but not in a physical way; it shows in her eyes. It's the kind of tired that comes from being bounced around the multiverse for the past three years of her life. This place isn't so bad, at least. She'll take it over Creepy Tree Town any fucking day.

Casey Kent sighs softly and looks into the camera. This is the third video of this exact type that she's done, so the likelihood that it's growing stale with other Displaced Supers who have been here a while is high. She'd apologize, but she wouldn't mean it, anyway. ]

It's that time of the week again. Guys, if you're here, please speak up. You know who you are.

[ She actually means her twin brothers, because one or both of them is always pretty close behind her when this stupid shit happens, but there are a handful of the Future Kids that she could also be referring to, given there's a decent number of them that bounce around in the same groups like the multiverse is especially fond — or hateful? — of them.

Then, she clears her throat, moving a little in her chair and appearing to shift gears. ]

For everyone else, hi, I'm Casey and I just wanted to touch base in case some of you are new to this whole being bounced around thing. This isn't my first rodeo. It probably won't be my last, so don't go getting all attached to me.

[ A little blush rises into her cheeks at the thought even though she's absolutely joking. ]

But, uh...yeah. So this is all pretty old hat to me and even though I've only been on this Earth for a few weeks, they're all kind of the same to some degree or another, so if you have questions about how this all...like, works, I guess...please let me know. I'll do my best to answer them. There don't appear to be any demons or killer trees here, so there's that. Ten points for 846.

I'm living in Eglaf on the first floor, so if you need anything and you're...basically anywhere in Eglaf or within, like...a ten mile radius give or take? Uh, just give a shout. I'll hear you. ...seriously, I will.

[ With that, she gives a small smile and wiggles her fingers in a little wave at the camera and then the feed goes black. ]
