mirror | something's happenin here

Jeez, this thing's tiny!

[ He taps on the screen curiously. He really should open on a more positive note, but there's definitely a level of admiration in his voice as he activate the mirror Lydia brought him. He's not really had a reason to use it yet, but for once, he's glad he has it. ]

Oh, sorry. Hey there. I'm Peter. I'm not really sure how many people have these things, but I know it's safer to use than the networks.

You see, I've been working with Tony, and were looking to see if the data from the portal monitoring systems can be used to help us figure out why this happened. If we can pinpoint when people's powers started switching, we might be able to reverse engineer it. If there's any indication of electrical abnormalities, then we can— [ Editing. This is proof that he's self-editing. A little huff. ]

Anyway.

[ He taps his pencil against his lips, thoughtful, before he looks back to the compact. ] There's no telling if this stuff is gonna be temporary or not, but a head start could help. Even if it all goes away and we don't have to do anything at all, it might help us actually fix the portals. Or at least understand why they're acting totally crazy.

...Though I guess they've been acting pretty crazy from the start, since we're here and all. And with the network acting up, this seemed like a safe bet. [ A one shouldered shrug. ] If you don't want to talk here, I'm around at apartment 302. Thanks, everyone. I really hope I can help.
