[ When the video opens, Lydia looks fine, if a little tired. Allison and Klaus both let her in on the fact that a lot of people had been looking for her when she hadn't even realized she'd been missing.

So, it seems like she ought to let everyone know that she's all right if they didn't know already. ]

So...I'm fine. I'm home safe; I got home late last night. Thank you for anyone who was able to join the search party and to everyone who reached out. I just wanted to let you all know that I'm okay.

Before you can ask: I don't know. I don't know what happened. One minute, I was in the maze with Allison and the next, I was downtown alone in the middle of the night...the next night. I don't remember anything in between.

( That's a lie. She remembers some of it. She remembers seeing Stiles as the nogitsune. That's all she remembers, but that's enough for her not to want to talk about it. Most of these people wouldn't know what she meant, anyway. It probably isn't even a memory; it's probably just a nightmare she had before waking up downtown in the middle of the Summer Stage alone for no discernable reason. )

So, you know, as much as I'd like to be helpful and tell you all...I don't know the answer to that question, so please don't ask it. You'll only frustrate us both. That said, if I do remember anything, believe me, I'll share.

Yes, well. I suppose I can admit that your hair is unrivaled, but I still have my charm, and you can't take that away from me.

[He sits back a little as if a bit huffy, but there's still that aura of calm about him, the release of tension in his shoulders and back that's been there for two days.

He knows that Lydia is capable of taking care of herself, he just doesn't want her to always feel like she has to do so on her own. He could see how that perspective could dig its claws in deep.]

All right. I had to ask, you know. [He's quite sure that she's probably not fine, but what Lydia needs right now is her boundaries respected and Sirius can give her that, knowing that she has Allison there to turn to.]

Now that Klaus and Tony are back on their feet I'll come visit. When you're up for it, of course. [He gives a wave of his hand to convey that there isn't any pressure there.] Whenever you're comfortable and free.

I wouldn't dream of it, honey.

( She smiles first and then laughs a little, shaking her head. )

I know and I appreciate it so much.

( Her smile softens and she nods, her nose wrinkling a little at how careful he's being around boundaries she hadn't really meant to draw between them but can't help realizing belatedly that she had. )

I'm comfortable and free for the next twenty minutes or so. After that, I can give you a shout when Allison and I finish dinner if you want to swing by.

Take your time. Have your dinner, settle in, relax, process, all that terrible and insufferable nonsense that must be done when something happens that you don't expect.

[His tone is light but also sympathetic, airy in a way that doesn't carry expectation but not so much that it's dismissive.]

I'm not going anywhere, I can wait. I'll bring over a bottle of wine, let Allison know that I expect her to enjoy at least one glass with us.
