Though nightlife could be an interesting way to learn a city, I'd much prefer to avoid it. I've only read about American nightlife. Seen a few Muggle films about gangsters of New York, but we're neither in New York and I don't suspect there are many gangsters, so I'm trying to scrub all British stereotypes from my mind.
