When Hermione actually looks up at the other person, her face colors almost immediately because he's handsome and she's embarrassed that she quite literally walked straight into him. "At least I wasn't the only one walking and reading," she says, her nose wrinkling slightly.

Shaking her head, Hermione holds up the to-go cup for him to see. "No, I'm all right. Thankfully, the lid is on tight." Then she realizes that perhaps he might have gotten burned. "Did I burn you?" she asks, eyes widening slightly with worry.

Having him call out the title of the book without actually bringing it up makes Hermione's face warm even more. "Oh, it's just...you know. Bit of light reading. It looked interesting," she says and it's not entirely a lie. She's not seen the title of the book he's holding, but she nods toward it anyway. "Find something good, then?"
