"Uh— hi everyone. I'm Max."
Max does a little, single wave with his right hand.
"I don't know quite how to say this any better, so I'm just gonna go ahead and say it."
He seems to struggle even then, with what words he should choose next.
"I'm experiencing a lot of other people's memories, and uh, it's such a huge violation of privacy, but I can't stop them from happening to me, so I'm really sorry ahead of time, if I see something or experience something that's yours."
But given his hesitant expression, Max still hasn't exactly spit it out yet. Here goes nothing.
"A lot of these things are ... well ... okay they're really traumatic. And I'm pretty sure I would've died already if I ever went to any of your home worlds." Wow did he just get to say that last part out loud? "Anyway, I just wanted to offer that if anyone else would like to feel a little better, I've um— I've discovered what my power is, and uh, yup, nope, okay I'm committing to it."
His eyes contact has been sporadic as he works through this for himself, but finally, he looks straight back into the camera for this next part.
"If you want to feel better, for awhile? I don't know how long it'll last, but I'm gonna go to the common green space outside the Eglaf apartments tomorrow after 4 p.m. and sing everyone a song. And uh, I think, somehow, that might help anyone who wants to come listen."
Then just silence, for two seconds.
"Yup okay that's all I wanted to say, and uh, if anyone here is seeing a good therapist I'd love a recommendation."
The video ends.
