Eglaf Apartment Complex
[ Steve's never had his own place, so it's a nice novelty at first. He camps out on the couch and watches a few hours of MTV before realizing there are no actual music videos, just shows about catfish and young moms. He puts his feet on the coffee table, and tends to take over the space when he's in the room, leaving behind a trail of junk food wrappers. He plays his music pretty loudly and will mostly do so until his roommates or neighbors ask him to do otherwise. Basically, he's a boy in his own place for the first time and therefore, won't make much effort to keep it clean until it begins to bother him. Once he realizes that the pool was free reign to the apartment tenants he can be found down there every morning grabbing a swim before his shift at the ice creamery around noon or so.]
Dippity Doo Dahs Homemade Ice Creamery
[ Different Earth, same job. Except this time he's getting paid considerably much more for slinging ice cream and not having to wear a ridiculous looking uniform. He doesn't even have to worry about wearing a hat, which is a huge step up. The only terrible thing is he doesn't have Robin to talk to, the girls coming into the shop keep giving him weird looks and you know, his family, friends and hometown don't exist here.
He's an okay worker. He'll do what he's told and he'll greet people as they come in, but it's clear that his mind is on other things as he scoops one waffle cone after the next with weird flavors like coffee - who would want coffee flavored ice cream? - and vegan peanut butter rice cream. Which doesn't even sound like ice cream, but hey, he just works here, right?
Most of the time he can be found leaning behind the counter looking bored and a little worried.]
