I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, but I feel like you should know that it sounds a lot more like you're concerned that one of us might target her. I'm sure you can see, if you read what you wrote again, why it might look that way to us. It's actually kind of hurtful for someone like me who spends an hour every morning patrolling the whole city and several hours every night doing the same, taking bad guys to the cops when the cops are spread too thin to get them all on their own. I understand feeling threatened by something you don't understand (you, the collective; not you, personally) but...there are a lot more of you than there are of us and not all of us have the kinds of powers you (again, collective) probably think we do.

It's the best home I've ever had, though, and I guess I shouldn't feel guilty, but I'm not used to all of this yet either. It's not a struggle to live like it was at home, at times. I get to live here, at least, even if it's not perfect.

I think that it's kind that so many people thing that I'm good and deserve good things, I don't think there is any perfect place for me to be, though. I just want the chance to become a healer and to live.

I'm talking about millions in damages and in some cases, loss of life. And you can't say I'm lumping them together like some homophobic or racial asshole. I'm gay, for Christ's sake!
