Scott went with a relatively simply put-together ranger costume in the spirit of things you might see at a Medieval-themed fair. He's mingling with anyone that wants to talk with him, fellow displaced and locals alike. Photo ops and autographs for everyone, basically. He's here to make someone's day, and taking a picture with someone is the absolute easiest way to do that.
Still, even the most upbeat and enthused of people need a break from the over-taxing socialization requirements of near-celebrity attention. He politely excuses himself from the group of-- is fans the right word?-- people he was talking with and slips away for a bit of air. Literally. Besides the emotional, always-on part of things, parties are also overwhelming for his werewolf senses between the sounds and the scents among other things. Plain and simple: Breaks are just necessary sometimes.
As he's making his way outside to get that bit of fresh air, he finds someone looking right and proper plastered, presumably trying to do the same. "Hey, buddy," without thought, he reaches for the guy when he misses his next step and looks like he's about to fall, one arm secured around his waist. "you okay?"
