Reaching for her skirt, just to be sure she doesn't step on it, Prim moes to follow after her roommate. She is hungry, but it'as easy to avoid, to put it off, when you're having frun. Plus, when you're used to going without that compounts on top of that. Still, she doesn't ahve to do that here. there's a lot that she doesn't have to power thorugh or just deal with here that she had to back in Panem. It's just too bad that Katniss isn't here with her, honestly.
"I'm not worrying too much - nobody has said anything, honestly, it's just different from what I'm used to." Prim clarifies with a small smile. Nobody here has been anything but nice to her so far. there have been more people offering to help her here than she can remember ever making even a little effort back at home. Then again, when you're struggling so hard to get by yourself you can't really make an offer to help anybody else comfortably.
Plus, everything else going on impacted everyone there.
"It does smell good. My sister has been to more parties like this than I ever did back home. Some of them bigger and more extravagant, but the food always looked and sounded good - that was always Katniss' favorite part because she hated everything else." Prim offers, thinking that this is another thing that Five is similar to her sister in. "She'd have probably stood watch over me like you were too, actually." She shares, a little grin slipping onto her mouth as she peers over at the old man in the young body who happens to be one of her best friends here. Part of her wants to ask if he thinks that too much time has passed for her sister to show up - given the fact that several of his siblings have, but she holds back the question, feeling like the costume party with the people milling about probably isn't the best time.
