Twirling a little in place, Lydia smiles, preening slightly. "Thanks," she chirps as she finishes her spin. "Oooooooh," Lydia croons playfully, lifting her eyebrows with interest. "Who's your date? Look at you, bringing a date." Honestly, Lydia did, too, but she just sort of assumes that Laura means that she brought an actual date. Lydia came with the girl she tutors, as friends.

Lydia lifts her glass and grins, taking a sip. "Well, I didn't buy this for myself," she says playfully. Then she shrugs. "It's okay. For a party someone else put together, anyway," she adds loftily, smirking.
